Hawaiian Memorial Park (HMP) wishes to inform the community about upcoming work within the cemetery's designated petition area.
Having obtained the necessary heavy equipment mobilizing permits from the State of Hawaii, HMP will begin mulching the trees from the clearing activities. The mulching will be starting June 1, 2025. This work, involving the use of heavy equipment such as a horizontal grinder, is scheduled to continue through July 31st, 2025. There will be no grubbing, grading, or clearing woody vegetation over 15-feet.
